School Holiday Water Marbling Workshop

Service Description

In Aetheria Studio has a water marbling experience specifically for all primary and high school aged kids to enjoy on their holiday break! After a quick introduction to how to approach the marbling bath, kids will have free reign to play and explore how the inks morph and create new and exciting patterns. They will become mesmerised! Then, they are invited to draw on the surface of the water to move the ink into their own desired patterns. This process is quite therapeutic, where this class is evenly as much about getting lost in the process as it is about the final product. Kids will transfer the art onto paper, that can be turned into cards, framed or used in many other creative projects! The class base rate is for paper only. If you would like to add fabric or a silk scarf, just select it in the add-ons section. There are lots of options available as add-ons that are ever evolving - such as t-shirts, hats, plant pots etc. The paper needs several hours to dry properly, so you are free to come back another day to pickup the art, or pay for postage. (You are welcome to decide on the day) There are aprons available to wear in the studio, and you are welcome to bring your own. Ps: Children are also welcome in the open classes if you would like to do the class together! And Parents/guardians are welcome to join the class if they feel their child needs extra support in a group environment. Guests will get: • Up to 10 pieces of A4 or A3 paper to print one of a kind marbled artwork onto!
